Ella
This little lady is only a few weeks away from her first birthday, it was a delight to photograph her and her mom, next time we'll have to make sure we get some with dad too!

This little girl, she just melts me!

Bring on Spring
These little friends were loving the sun, it was a beautiful day to play outside. They went down the slides, played on the monkey bars, and ran off months worth of winter energy. The smiles were ear to ear! Such a fun day!"Are we going to be friends forever? Holland Park, Surrey BC
What a stunning day, you would never know the Winter Olympics were in town with the weather we had today, it was gorgeous. We headed to Holland Park for some of the festivities, we were there for an hour or so and we just checked it out, they had the games on two big screen TV's, an ice rink, and aboriginal music playing in the park. Another successful family day out (but next time we'll bring our skates for Liam)!

Happy 1st Birthday Sawyer
This little man had some friends over to celebrate his birthday so I grabbed my camera to capture a few candid moments for his Mom & Dad, such a cutie pie.

Welcome World!
As the Olympics were only a few days away we went out to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Delta and take part in the Light the Spirit of Delta. Liam was loving all the big trucks, music and the police cars that went past. Everyone on the street was grinning from ear to ear it was a day that we will not forget!
We were excited for the arrival of the torch coming through our neighbourhood and once we got to the street it was exciting and everyone was very proud to be Canadian.

Once the torch went through Delta we headed over to the recreation centre for some family entertainment. We saw Bobs & Lolo preform for the little ones inside and then we saw the Slovakian theatre group Teatro Tatro preform a strange, but entertaining show on the side of a Slovakian bus in the parking lot.

Then to end the day we went to Sungod Recreation Center as the municipality hosted the women's Olympic hockey teams from Finland and Slovakia in an exhibition game. Liam loved the game and the day could not have been any more packed!

So we had a few days to recoup and catch up on naps and for the opening ceremonies we had a couple of Liams friends come over for a late night party to watch the opening ceromonies. It was a party, we had pizza, Canada flags, toys and of course Hockey Sticks where the 3 of them started a game (however it didn't take too long before there was some high sticking so the game didn't last too long). It was a great night even if the opening ceremony didn't go quite as planned. Again a great night!

Happy Birthday!
I was let loose to take photos of 2 birthday parties held together. The party was for 2 boys whose birthdays are 10 days apart.

The guest of honour was a very energetic 8 year old boy, who loves Hockey more than anything, the theme for the party was Olympics, and this family made all the kids feel like they were in the Olympics; right from the Canada Vs. USA Gold Medal Hockey game in the recreation center to Olympic Trivia in the party room.

The  other guest of honour was a georgeous little 1 year old that was full of a cold, but this didn't stop him from crawling around, using his walker and of course eating his very own Olympic sized Cupcake!

The Older boy thought that it would be great if his friends donated to the charity "Basics for Babies" instead of getting him gifts, this 8 year old boy raised over $200 and some guests donated baby gifts for the charity.

The world would be a better place if everone was as selfless as him.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!
